Re-entry. Permits
As with our recent study in Ahmedabad luggage is x-rayed on the way into the country. The equipment list is gear-lite but still more than your usual tourist punter. Am pulled aside, and the uniformed gent starts nosing around. Five minutes ago I re-upped enough RMB required to run a small army of assistants - the carry-on is bulging with wads of cash. Thankfully he sticks to the equipment in the main bag.
"You a journalist?"
"Er, no".
Also carrying enough sensors to start (documenting) a small war.
Those of you with truly nothing better to do - can sign up to the Future Perfect micro-stream by clicking on the ? at the end of where is today's office.
