What is this?

This is about tha banality of daily life
I took a picture, but I don't know where to send it
I have another one, our ways with the meat

In every town of Portugal, the picture, name and a small text is published refering all the persons that have died. It is a work on progress(if I can say that).
On the grosserie stores, on the baker shop, flourist,..
It's at the same time disturbing but at the same time a ritual that reminds me that we were a small comunity and It reasures me, it makes me feel connected to the places, to the people.
we're still knowned, not just a grey figure, a number.

i think many of jan's pics and posts are about perception, its metaphoric nature. and finding good metaphors to guide perception. why i personally bother to look at the blog, is that the photos and posts tend to reconfigure my sensemaking apparatus.

for me, the above collection could be interpreted as an evolving collection of mixed media stuff, which has it's limits, must be nourished and maintained, based on the usage and environmental collections, some parts grow larger, blahblah...

and what's nice, when over-interpreting the picture, i eventually start to think also about the gardener, who is that and what levels of knowledge he must have in order to garden this small plantation. and of course, the perspectice of the shot and the possibility to see the whole in one glance and separate each flower of each other, but also having to look under the bushes to remove the weeds and unwanted material from it. must stop here. :)

It is quite simply what is is.

That and I'm too busy to over analyse.

I actually just literally meant what/where is this?
