Maybe not, maybe it is per the user's spec... Maybe the user has a big behind and needed the extra springs... Or maybe there are many holes on the road and that is why the extra springs. Maybe that is considered the best seat design for that particular region... :-)

However in this instance - the chap who was with this rickshaw was rather wirey, and the springs were far larger than the other bikes travelling the same roads.
