Emotional Charging
When is the last time you smiled inserting a plug into a power socket? What would it take to make that happen?

charging my devices is like me eating. if my batteries are really low for a long time and i get anxious that i won't make it through the day (and I forgot my spare batteries), plugging in gives this staisfied feeling of slaking thirst or dealing with a grumbly stomach.
ahhh, i will make it. mmmm, feel that electricity coursing in. gobble gobble.
y'know?

Kind of :)
I was thinking of two things - the pleasure gained from physically inserting a plug into the power socket - that it becomes an enjoyale interaction experience, that there is something about the design of the plug and the socket, and their interacting together that is enjoyable. Along the lines of http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/household/voodoo-knife-holder-now-for-sale-101217.php
Then there is your pleasure from sucking up new energy. But even that could be improved right?

Possibly more enjoyable if the experience was less two senior citizens having dehydrated intercourse.
