It's interesting watching word numbers develop in various countries. I wrote about and observed the rise of them in New Zealand about ten years ago.
I'm interested to see how long it is before people start going for word numbers for their mobiles. However having lived in London for six years just recently, I was amazed that they did not really exist in the UK. In the States 1-800 PIZZA is bound to get you a takeway no matter which State you are in.
